September Glymm bag!
Unlike Glossybox which I'm pretty much always disappointed with, Glymm hasn't let me down yet. There's always at least one or two products I love, plus the makeup bags are just great! I used them to organize myself while traveling. So far I've set up a overnight kit (for quick overnight trips so I don't have to run around searching for stuff) and an emergency kit (full of band-aids and such). On to this months Glymm bag products!
Evolvh UltraShine Shampoo & Conditioner I really like the scent of these, kind of masculine. They do a good job of cleaning my hair and don't leave it too heavy, as I have fine hair and it's easy to weigh it down. Leaves my hair really manageable with a minimum of tangles.
La Fresh waterproof makeup remover wipes I haven't tried these yet, but I love that they're individually packaged. These went straight into my overnight kit so I most likely won't try them for a while.
Bentaberry super moisturizing face cream for girls this is an OK product, I don't really like the smell (it reminds me a bit of musty towels) but thankfully it dissipates quickly. Like the name says this is really moisturizing.
Villainess Dulce en Fuego Whipped body creme omg I love this, this smells amazing. Like toasted marshmallows with just a hint of spice. This leaves my skin feeling powdery soft and I'm REALLY tempted to buy a full-size of this, even though I rarely buy expensive body creams.
The bag this month is ok, I can't say I'm in love with it like I was last month. I might just give this to my mom or sister, but we'll see if I can't find a use for it.

I just wanted to reach out and thank my reader LeslieJ for nominating me for SkinnyScoop's top 25 beauty bloggers! Thank you so much, it was such a delight to come home and see that :) I'm so happy you like the blog!

Pinterest Style Inspiration!
I love Pinterest for getting ideas on everything from home decor to style inspiration to tasty treats! Here are a few looks I've been loving the idea of for fall.
Above is a gorgeous navy wool coat and I'm determined to get one this year (I generally buy a new winter coat every two years or so)
Love this idea of making your maxie skirts last into the cooler months. Pairing it with a chunky knit gives you an Olsen twin/Nicole Richie vibe. I wore this look last week and got a ton of compliments on it.
This is pretty much my style uniform for busy days. Skinny jeans/Jeggings with ballet flats (or my Toms!) with simple shirt and a scarf. Though I do tend to swap out a blazer for my leather jacket. Simple and easy but still looks totally pulled together.
I'm not great at mixing patterns so I'm always on the look out for great looks I can recreate. I love how the monochromatic theme here really pulls this together.
Anyone else spend hours looking for inspiration on Pinterest?

August Glossybox
These just keep coming later and later. I'm planning on cancelling my subscription, just have one more month to get through. I've been really disappointed with almost every glossybox I've received. I've given it four months and I can't recommend this service. If you want a subscription box I'd say go with Glymm as I find it way better.
- Befine Fine Food Skin Care - 50-150ml/ $24.00-$30.00 These seem alright, little one use pouches of products to try out.
- Layla Nail polish in Smalti Bayou not a colour I would ever wear
- Kryolan For Glossybox Lipstick in Glossy Pink (Full Size) This is the only thing I really love from this box, the colour looks great on me.
- Sebastian Potion 9 Lite - 150ml/ $20.95 I do like Sebastian products and it's a good size
- Elastoplast SOS Blister 5 Units/ $5.99 Seriously?? Bandaids in a beauty box?? uhhh...
- Trend Trunk Mystery Gift Card Never heard of this site, this kinda sucks
- Biore Make-Up Removing Towelettes 10ct/ $3.99 Didn't I just get neutrogena ones from glossybox a month or so ago? I don't like Biore so not excited about these.

Fashion Night Out Haul!
So fashion night out was almost two weeks ago, and I'm realising now I forgot to photograph stuff, but here's what I picked up! I went with my friend M and we had a blast. We hung around Yorkdale instead of going downtown because we were both wiped from classes that day.
Holt Renfrew was having this amazing deal where if you bought something you got a giftcard for 20% of the total purchase back. They FINALLY had my black Rebecca Minkoff mini mac in stock so I snapped that up. Using my giftcard I also bought Chanel's Emmervielle (for free!!) and the House of Harlow earrings, which are amazing but heavy to wear.
Not pictured are the La Vanilla Vanilla Coconut rollerball and Origins spot treatment which I will have reviews up soon. I also got this Juicy Couture USB bracelet in pink that I got seriously discounted for like $20.
Did anyone else participate in FNO? I loved it and can't wait for next year!

Sorry Guys!!!
Hey there,
Sorry posts have been sporadic this week. Between school, work and it being my birthday blogging kind of took a backseat. I promise next week I'll be back with new posts and I'm going to work out a better schedule so that this doesn't happen again. Hope you all have a great weekend :)

Review + Swatches: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
After hearing everyone and their mother rave about BB creams I really wanted to try one. I started using the Maybelline BB cream about 2 or 3 months ago, and was pleased to find out Miss Glamourazzi loved it. As she has experience with Asian BB creams I trust her judgement that this is a good one.
I really like how this looks on my skin, really fresh without feeling like I'm wearing a ton of makeup. While my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation does give better coverage, this is really great for hot days when I want to look pulled together but not feel like I'm wearing a ton of makeup.
The colour selection isn't great for this, I think they have only 5 shades. Thankfully the lightest shade is a pretty good match for my skin. This blends really well with brushes or with fingers, depending on your preference. I love the fact that this has SPF 30 in it because I'm a real stickler when it comes to wearing sunscreen everyday.
Overall I think this is a great budget foundation/BB cream that is perfect for days when you need your makeup to be quick. My only complaint is that I wish it brightened up my skin tone a bit better for days when I'm feeling really tired, otherwise this gets a 4/5.

Fashion Friday #2: Fashion Envy
I read Refinery 29 fairly regularly and I've noticed a lot of negative comments in regards to the price of the items they post about. Yes a $5000 jacket is out of most people's budgets (mine included) but I don't really understand the hostility towards the Refinery 29 team for posting these items. Yes, it's probably unattainable but isn't looking at ridiculously gorgeous and overpriced items part of the fun of fashion?
I don't regularly go into Holt Renfrew with the intention of buying anything (Holt Renfrew is the Canadian version of Nordstrom/Barneys/Bendels/Harvy Nichols/Harrods) because I know it's not in my budget. However I do love looking at the amazing items that are so wonderfully made (honestly the quality of most of these things is just stunning) and thinking maybe one day I'll be able to purchase this, or start saving for that special item if I can't wait (like the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag pictured above which I bought last night).
When I find those special items that make my heart start to beat faster, I don't get down (unless they're crazy expensive) I just start saving. Yes the majority of high end fashion is out of my budget and I can't get everything I want. This doesn't make me lash out at websites such as Refinery 29 for posting images of these items. I think people take fashion too literally and need to start realizing that fashion is FUN and not a competition. Spend what you can on what you want and don't let envy ruin the experience.

August Glymm Bag
So this is a little bit late but better late than never! I'm really liking Glymm a lot better than Glossybox, so much so that I think I'm going to cancel my Glossybox after this month. Anyways, onto the goodies!
Princepessa Cattiva Diva hand cream (full size)
I've never used Princepessa products before but I'm going to look into the brand after this. This smells divine and fells amazing on my hands. Such a treat, I'm trying to use up my body shop almond hand cream and my L'occitane honey and lemon hand creme before I start using this full time.
Naked Princess lip gloss in barely coral
I wish this sample had been bigger, but I do really like the product. The colour is really pretty and I like the fact that it's natural because apparently we ingest 2lbs of lip product a year (gross). It's expensive for a lip gloss ($25) so I don't see myself buying this anytime soon.
Bentaberry G-1 moisturizing Face cream for boys and girls - Regulating line
This is made from 100% natural ingredients which I like. I haven't tried this yet as my skin has been acting up a bit, but I'm looking forward to taking this on a weekend away. I'd never heard of this brand before my glymm box this month so I'll be looking into it more.
Vitamine & Sea Mineral Clay Mask
I haven't tried this yet as I've been avoiding new products for my face until it calms down. I love face masks though and can't wait to try this. According to the product card it's supposed to give skin "a soft, tight, sexy, radiant glow." who doesn't like the sound of that?
Mai Couture Blush Papier in Prettyful
I'd never heard of this brand/type of product before. Apparently you just rub it on your cheeks and it gives you blush. Seems really great for traveling.
I also LOVE the bag this month, it's black patent quilted and it will be perfect for weekend trips. I really like getting these every month and I would totally recommend Glymm to those wanting to get started with a beauty subscription.

August Favorites!
August FLEW by and I can't believe it's September and back to school time already! (YAY I might be the only person who LOVES going back to school) I'm super excited to start being able to wear boots and pants and leather jackets again. I think Fall/Spring are my favorite seasons. I love summer, but the heat and sun tend to keep me indoors too much. Winter on the other hand is my nemesis because it's so long and I get really lazy in the winter. Anyways on to the favorites!
1. My Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation has been a dream to use. I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear this and it really does make my skin look flawless. This feels amazing on, totally light and as if your not wearing any foundation. (Ignore the lipstick in the picture, I didn't have time to take new photos for this)
2. Stila French Rivera Pallet (Kitten, Grace and Mahogany) I have been wearing this trio almost everyday since I got it. I actually hid it on myself so I would wear other eyeshadows I just love it that much. This is the perfect trio for day to day looks and I honestly can't recommend it enough.
3. Chanel Coco Rouge Shine in Boy is a perfect neutral look for lips, really pretty and subtle. On me it's the perfect my look but better colour and I've been reaching for this again and again this month. This was recommended to me by my friend Christine over at Starry Eyed Beauty.
4. Nars Laguna bronzer/ Orgasm blush duo has become my go to for my bronzer and blusher. I didn't really wear blush until I got this duo as I have naturally very rosy cheeks but Orgasm looks really pretty when popped onto the apples of my cheeks. Laguna is the perfect bronzer for my pale skin, even better than last months favorite Sephora bronzer. I now really want to try more NARS products but I'll wait for a VIB sale.
5. Tanya Burr aka Pixi2woo is one of my favorite all time YouTubers/makeup gurus. She's been doing this amazing thing all August long called Awesome August where she posts a new video (tutorial, outfit of the day and so forth) every other day in August. I've been loving the large amount of new tutorials and this Pretty Little Liars Aria inspired look is my favorite. Tanya is one of my favorites because she actually is a makeup artist so I find watching her tutorials I learn a lot more than some of my other favorites (who are still amazing, but Tanya has some really great techniques and such). She just seems like such a lovely person, really relelateable. If you haven't checked out her channel make sure you do!
